I have been a colleague and patient of Dr. Reicherter for the past 15 years and have found him to be one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I know.

I was in perfect health all of my life when one day I woke up with intense muscular spasms, tingling and fatigue. At one point I could barely move and from there things went from bad to worse with my hormones and immune system. At first doctors took me seriously as they were concerned with meningitis, MS etc. but once those standard conditions were ruled out I was dismissed over and over again for having a psychological breakdown. I saw over 15 specialists, went to Mayo Clinic and had over $200,000 in medical claims from testing and diagnostics over the course of a year. My symptoms were having a progressively negative impact on my work and personal life and I became quite hopeless as none of the specialists I went to listened to me or collaborated across other specialties to think outside the box. Since what I was experiencing was not “textbook” it must be in my head. Fortunately, I decided to go visit Dr. Reicherter for my excessive hair loss and acne that had manifested among many other symptoms. Dr. Reicherter was so compassionate and empathetic as he had gone through a similar experience. He was able to point me to his wife, Dr. Jellison who has worked with me in an integrative approach to determine that I have mold poisoning and a genetic predisposition to mold illness due to faulty detox pathways. The mold I had been exposed to for years at work had built up in my system affecting all aspects of my health. I was incredibly relieved to not only have answers but to be working with two individuals who are passionate about their patients and truly wanted to help me feel better, not just cover up symptoms with trial medications. I have since improved significantly. Dr. Jellison is incredibly knowledgeable and I trust her implicitly. She is always available for me to contact with questions and follow up, even remotely as I have since moved from Kansas City. I could not have asked for better care!

I’ve dealt with GI problems for years and had numerous tests and medications to treat them. With Dr. Jellison’s help, I’m almost off my GI medication and feeling much better.

She has patiently answered my numerous questions during the remediation process of my home. She tested me for many inflammation markers and has me on a detailed treatment plan. She is a very caring doctor who really listens to her patients. When I have had some issues come up during my treatment, she addressed them right away. I feel that she makes my issues a priority, which I have found to be a rare thing for a doctor. I feel lucky to have found Dr. Jellison to help me on the road to recovery.

Dr. Jellison has been so helpful to me in treating my mold illness. She pointed out some huge errors I had made in the mold testing and remediation of my home. I have since corrected these errors and feel I am now on the road to recovery. If it wasn’t for her assistance, I never would have known about the toxic levels of mold in my basement since I had tested with gravity plates and assumed it was okay when it turned out it was not.

I came to see Dr. Jellison for help with a MARCoNS infection in my sinuses. I was pleasantly surprised to find she was a Shoemaker-trained physician for mold illness. I know people in the Kansas City area who travel to Chicago to see a Shoemaker-trained doctor. So, we are fortunate to have someone like Dr. Jellison here in the area. She is extremely knowledgeable about mold toxicity illness. She is also an ILADS doctor, so she is well-versed in treating Lyme and co-infections.

I recently became a patient of Dr. Jellison, and I can’t say enough nice things about her. As a new patient to Integrative Medicine, I wasn’t sure if this approach would help me or if it was the best path for my specific needs, but after being treated by her, I’m completely sold.
