Super Salmon Salad
A light, refreshing salmon salad fueled with nutritional benefits and Omega-3 fats. This salad is perfect for any occasion or season and takes less than 20 minutes to make.
Ingredients
- 4 cups spring mix salad organic, pre-washed
- 1 cup strawberries organic, sliced
- 1 avocado organic, whole
- 1 medium cucumber organic
- 1 pouch Wild Planet Pink Salmon or Wild Planet Sockeye Salmon
- 1/2 cup walnuts toasted
- Tessemae Honey Poppyseed dressing or dressing of your choice
Instructions
- Place walnuts in a small saute’ pan, set to low heat and stir for 5 minutes until you can smell the walnuts toasting, place on a cutting board to cool.
- Place greens in a large bowl.
- Wash strawberries, slice, place in large bowl.
- Wash cucumber, peel, cube, add to bowl.
- Wash avocado, peel, cube, add to bowl.
- Drain salmon pouch of all liquid and then flake salmon into bowl.
- Add dressing to your taste and toss salad.
- Chop cooled walnuts and add to top of salad.
